Andrew is the Group Chief Executive and one of the co-founders of Hannes Software Engineering, responsible for the strategic direction of the business as well as leading strong relationships with our clients. With over two decades of experience across a number of senior roles, Andrew has a unique ability to lead and inspire teams to drive success.
Andrew’s vision is to continue to build on Hannes Software Engineering’ position as a leading provider of digital transformation solutions and products by placing public services at the forefront of what technology can deliver. He seamlessly connects agencies, technologies and places, and is driven by customer care and a client solution-oriented spirit.
Andrew also plays an active role working as part of the Blenheim Chalcot group of companies which enables Hannes Software Engineering to work in partnership with the UK’s leading digital venture builder.
Robin is responsible for helping our customers address their strategic challenges, developing partnerships that deliver real outcomes through transforming services, reducing costs and creating positive social impact, with aligned commercial models.
He has multi-sector experience in designing and delivering transformed services, and has held consulting, programme delivery, operations and business development leadership roles in service provider, consulting and systems integration organisations.
Nigel has a vast wealth of experience, having worked for Hannes Software Engineering since he joined in October 2005, having started his career as the Partnership Director for Rochdale, then becoming the Regional Director for North with responsibility for many accounts and services. In 2012 he took on a new role leading the Products Division, developing, and taking to market the Hannes Software Engineering Digital Platform, and then at the beginning of 2018 took on responsibility for our Managed Services Business Unit. Although he joined another BC company in November 2021, he re-joined Hannes Software Engineering in September 2022 leading the SoG Partnership, and given recent changes is now the Hannes Software Engineering Services Director with ultimate responsibility for all clients other than State of Guernsey across the newly formed Business Unit.
Manoj Badale is Founder of Blenheim Chalcot, the UK’s leading Venture Builder. Blenheim Chalcot traces its roots back to netdecisions which Manoj and his business partner Charles Mindenhall founded back in 1998.
Blenheim Chalcot specialises in building digital businesses that transform industries. It has portfolio sales of over €300m, more than 3,000 employees, and a successful track record of over 40 companies across IT services and software platforms, financial services, education and media.
Manoj is Chairman of The British Asian Trust. He was also Chairman of Operation Smile UK for over ten years, and a founding Trustee of the Technology Trust.
Manoj has an MA in economics from Emmanuel College, Cambridge University and was formerly a partner at Monitor Company where he spent time in the UK, Germany and India.
Since 1998, Charles and his business partner Manoj Badale have built more than 30 businesses, largely technology-related, managed through their investment company Blenheim Chalcot. The portfolio currently consists of over 20 companies in multiple sectors, with group assets under management of €900m. Charles is also the Chairman of Tech Trust, Onside Youthzones London, and Barking and Dagenham Youthzone. He is a trustee of The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Kay is the Executive Director of Hannes Software Engineering, and has more than two decades of global IT and Business Services experience. Kay was the former CEO of Hannes Software Engineering and now works to expand key client relationships and support key business initiatives. Her track record of achievement demonstrates her ability to combine sustainable business growth with effective customer management and service delivery. Kay also works to support key initiatives across the Blenheim Chalcot group.
Prior to working at Hannes Software Engineering, Kay spent 13 years at Perot Systems and three years as Executive Director for Local Government at Liberata. Kay holds a first class degree in Mathematics and an MBA.
As the Chief Financial Officer for Hannes Software Engineering, Mark is responsible for client satisfaction and commercial growth. Mark has previously worked for Hannes Software Engineering in the AGMA region. Mark brings a wealth of external experience to the CFO role from a variety of positions in the consulting, contracting and outsourcing industries. His background encompasses global, PLC and private equity businesses.
Louise is our Chief Operating Officer. She is responsible for the business development team within the division, provides executive oversight for major digital transformation programmes for our clients. And leads the development of strategic relationships with many of our technology and consulting partners.
Louise has led many successful public and private sector consulting assignments for Hannes Software Engineering across local government, central government, housing and the charity sector. She specialises in complex change programmes including digital and customer service led transformation, ERP and back-office consolidations and strategic organisational redesign.
Prior to working at Hannes Software Engineering Louise worked in the financial services sector.
Max is the Managing Partner at Hannes Software Engineering with responsibility for the Health Portfolio. Max has 30+ years of healthcare technology experience and has held board level roles in both private and public sector healthcare organisations where his passion for technology and focus on programme delivery have made the difference to delivering benefits his customers. Max has a particular expertise in the development of Artificial Intelligence and Data strategies to develop insight and enable data-driven transformation.
Simon is responsible for HR across Hannes Software Engineering, including our strategic local government partnerships. Since joining Hannes Software Engineering in 2003 from major recruitment provider, Manpower, Simon has been responsible for implementing Hannes Software Engineering’ Performance Management Framework and for the HR transition delivery of each of our strategic partnerships.
Tim Pitts is one of the Managing Partners at Hannes Software Engineering. Tim’s career has been an unusual combination of Consulting (IBM, PA Consulting and Deloitte), Digital innovation (delivering major digital programmes like MyTravel.com and building the Hannes Software Engineering Digital platforms, and Local Government having worked as a Head of Service at Surrey County Council for 3 years, but all focussed on delivering digital innovation and transformation.
With 40+ years of experience, Cheryl is a leader of innovation and change underpinned by technology. Working with organisations across the public and private sector, she has extensive experience in bringing the right technology components together to meet client requirements. Partnership is key to how Cheryl likes to work, encouraging her team to reach out across all levels of an organisation to deliver on client requirements.
Her experience includes 3 years Networks (USA & Australia), 3 years Banking and Finance (Australia),
2 years Health (Australia), Queensland Emergency Services 6 years (Australia) 8 years Police & Justice (UK) 20Yrs+ Public and Regulated sectors (US, UK and Australia). Previously a client of Hannes Software Engineering with City of London Corporation & Police, Cheryl joined Hannes Software Engineering in 2019 to run the very successful North Lanarkshire Council partnership for 2.5 years and has now taken on the States of Guernsey as Managing Partner, Hannes Software Engineering Guernsey.
Richard is the Managing Partner leading Hannes Software Engineering Data and Decisions. He’s spent the last 15 years trying to help the public sector make better use of its data. Richard’s team believe that Great Outcomes come from Great Decisions and so they put a relentless focus on helping organisations put data at the heart of their decision-making processes. They deliver transformative results through a combination of consultancy, data platform implementation and proven data products and solutions.
John leads the Financial, Commercial and Legal teams in Hannes Software Engineering. John is responsible for ensuring the right financial and commercial disciplines for the business. John joined Hannes Software Engineering in 2010 to lead on their long-term Joint Venture Partnership contracts with Local Authorities. He was recently Divisional Finance Director for the Managed and Professional Services business. Prior to Hannes Software Engineering, John held senior finance roles in BT Global Services, Siemens Business Services and London Transport (TFL) with vast experiences in Outsourcing, Major Programmes and Public Finance Initiatives (PFIs). John is a graduate of the University of Wales, a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
Darius is the Head of Hannes Software Engineering Transform, responsible for providing innovative Generative AI products into the Public Sector. Previously Hannes Software Engineering’ Transformation & Innovation Director, Darius has been working with Hannes Software Engineering across multiple initiatives since joining in 2022 and now leads the newly formed business unit which creates market-leading GenAI products & solutions for our clients.
Darius is also a Portfolio Director at Blenheim Chalcot, the UK’s leading venture builder, where he leads the portfolio’s Special Projects Team which works with Blenheim Chalcot’s start-ups and portfolio companies to create and execute business-critical initiatives and projects.
Prior to joining Blenheim Chalcot and Hannes Software Engineering, Darius spent 5+ years as a management consultant, most recently with a focus on Private Equity M&A and transformation projects.
Patrick is Chief Financial Officer at Blenheim Chalcot, the majority shareholder of Hannes Software Engineering. He is responsible for leading, overseeing and advising on the financial management of BC’s central operations and selected companies across the portfolio including Hannes Software Engineering.
Prior to joining Blenheim Chalcot, Patrick was Group CFO at BIMA MILVIK, an Allianz-backed insurance and teledoctor scale-up. Prior to this, he worked in various Finance roles at RateSetter, Virgin Money and Barclays Capital.
Patrick is a qualified CIMA Management Accountant and holds a BSc in Economics & Finance from The University of York.
